Welcome to iMPI
iMPI (an integrative database for MicroProteins encoded by Introns) database provides an accessible source of intron-encoded microproteins in tumors. At present, the iMPI database has curated 5,823 intron ORFs (iORFs) from 4,751 introns across 27 cancer types with evidence of protein profiles. Detailed information on the translatable iORFs is provided, such as gene type, coding potential, iORF sequence, peptide sequence and intron position. Annotations including post-translational modifications (acetylation, glycosylation, methylation, phosphorylation, and ubiquitination), subcellular location, secondary structure, surface accessibility, and tertiary structure are also available.
Examples: #1. Gene ID: ENSG00000107902.14; #2. Gene name: FLT4; #3. Transcript ID: ENST00000370002.8; #4. Cancer type: LUAD
